New fees and clarification of rules are on our new web site:
It’s been so great around here that its hard to remember to post new blog entries every now and then. Let’s see what’s happened:
1) Polo has been re-awakened in ottawa under the name of Manotick Polo Club. New members are encouraged and welcome. Lessons can be arranged, and we play for fun on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
You can also see info about it at: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Manotick-Polo-Club/108789339138809
2) We’re now at 25 ponies and horses, all living in cushy outdoor accomodations, enjoying the beautiful summer nights.
3) Kitty Bowland continues to teach here on Tuesday afternoons and evenings.
Well the clinic is all lined up. There’s still room for more people. For $350, you get a trained horse and are taught the basics of polo. It’s a really friendly group of people, I am definately signed up.
Well it was dreary and damp for the morning, but they say it’s going to be warm and sunny for the weekend. Now, finally, maybe, my owner will get out to ride and pay attention to me. They say things are going to be hectic, there’s at least four new horses coming.
Things are gearing up for the beginner’s polo clinic that’s going to held here in early May.
And our main riding coach, Kitty Bowland, is returning to Canada very soon now, so that’ll be fun.
